The Gemse timber building in the impressive natural Swiss landscape of Andermatt is characterised by naturally comfortable living, energy efficiency, and a full range of design options.
The structural frame of the building, which houses a total of 20 holiday homes ranging in size from 35 to 265 m², is a timber structure with Xlam ceilings.
In terms of physical support, the building complies even with the strictest requirements regarding fire protection and noise insulation and guarantees high resistance in extreme weather conditions (1,447 m above sea level) in light of the considerable snow load (up to 1,000 kg/m²).
