Hamburg Timber Construction Forum #4

Since ZEBAU organised the first Hamburg Timber Construction Forum in 2011, the focus of this series of events has been on quality, diversity, topicality and cooperation.

On event day #4, you can look forward to hearing about the experiences of those involved in the construction of the ROOTS: “Germany’s tallest timber building is currently under construction with the ROOTS in Hamburg’s HafenCity. New paths are being taken and new concepts trialled in many different areas. Once the construction work is complete, various experts and disciplines will have their say and share their experiences. Topics will include: planning using a mock-up, fire protection, prefabrication steps, weather protection during the construction phase and the approval process.”

Rubner is supporting the event and will reflect on the experiences and perspectives of the timber engineering company in Oliver Fried’s keynote speech.
