As an international supply partner, Rubner supplies a broad range of glued laminated timber products and Glulam components. These include straight glulam beams, curved beams, individually shaped components, composite components and ready-to-install kit solutions. Components can be manufactured in lengths of up to 50 metres. The offering is aimed at construction companies, building contractors, timber construction companies, general contractors and timber specialists worldwide.

Rubner produces glued laminated timber in accordance with the European standard EN 14080:2013 and processes PEFC-certified timber from sustainably managed forests. Production processes are continuously monitored and certified externally by accredited institutes. This ensures traceability, consistent product quality and documented technical standards. Certificates, declarations of performance and technical documentation are available for planners, construction companies and project partners.

Rubner processes spruce, larch and pine for glued laminated timber in various strength classes. Spruce is available in classes GL24H to GL32H, larch in GL24H and GL28C, pine in GL24H – also pressure-impregnated on request. Standard widths range from 80 to 280 mm. For greater structural requirements, composite components and larger cross-sections can be realised on a project-specific basis.

Rubner processes glued laminated timber components using CNC technology directly on the basis of project-specific BVN or BVX files. The digital workflow enables precise drilling, milling, slotting and preparation of timber connectors. Through direct data transfer to production, sources of error are reduced, on-site adjustments minimised and assembly processes prepared more efficiently.

Rubner coordinates international logistics solutions for glued laminated timber and Glulam components, tailored to the project, assembly schedule and destination country. Deliveries are possible ex works as well as DAP, CFR and CIF in accordance with Incoterms. The range of services includes standard transport, special transport, container transport and overseas transport by Ro-Ro or Breakbulk. On request, Rubner also provides support with export customs clearance. Components are packaged ready for installation, sorted and delivered according to the assembly sequence.

Factory prefabrication of glued laminated timber and Glulam components increases precision, quality assurance and efficiency on site. Rubner can already integrate reinforcement screws, concealed steel connectors, column-beam connectors, bearing details and neoprene bearings in the factory. In addition, protective coatings against UV radiation, insects, fungi and termites are possible. This reduces interfaces, shortens assembly times and prepares components on a project-specific basis for installation.
