A place to live. A horizon to embrace.
Project Trieste
From the encounter between the lively personalities of the clients and the design sensitivity of the architect, a unique house comes to life at Trieste near the sea, made possible by Rubner Haus’ construction flexibility.
The particular morphology of the land guided the choice of a staggered-level layout: from the entrace, to the sleeping area, to the bright living room that opens onto the terrace with a spectacular view of the sea. Clean architectural lines and a sober palette characterize the exterior, in harmonious dialogue with interiors full of personality: customized finishes, material accents and decisive color choices tell the story of each member of the family.
The house lives in symbiosis with the large garden that surrounds it, where each area finds its function and each need its answer. An outdoor wood-fired oven bears witness to the parents’ love for conviviality, while pergolas, relaxation corners and water features invite you to share moments outdoors. The interiors and exteriors reflect the affectionate and determined imprint of the teenage daughter. Shiro and Candy, two Swiss shepherds who are the absolute protagonists of the domestic scene, make everything even more lively and dynamic.
