Lights on nature
Project Villongo
Large spaces and unlimited light. This was the desire of Nadia, owner together with her husband Gianni of a beautiful 220 square meter home in Villongo, on Lake Iseo.
Sunbathed throughout the day, but protected to the north by the moraine hills, the house stands out naturally among the fields and woods, with a harmonious layout and delicate but effective contrasts, such as the one between the light walls and the dark windows, a sign of an environmentally friendly desire.
With its sweetly contemporary shape, it immediately inspires a great sense of intimacy, separation from chaos, the warmth of familiar things, the tenderness of everyday life with loved ones. Upon entering, these sensations are perceived even more clearly: right from the sofa in the living room, from where you can see all the doors and have the opportunity to interact with the rooms and the people, wherever they are.
In this way, natural heat, coolness and light also develop uniformly in every area of the house. An intimate and welcoming space which, in this way, gives a feeling of infinity and well-being, also because of the wood, which allows to live in healthy and clean environments. A house which, with its warm environments, made even more comfortable by the awesome parquet and the Rubner doors in brushed ash, is like a nest: at the same time a refuge and a starting point for exploring, in total freedom, the world and nature.
“The land already had the characteristics to host a high-efficiency house: open and free on four sides and very bright. We live in the greenery, between fields and woods, where the foxes come to visit us.”
