When two esteemed professionals moved from Naples to Lombardy for work, two desires immediately came to life: to create their new home quickly, and to build a space that would truly reflect who they are — their passions, their style, their story. Their meeting with Rubner Haus, and especially their visit to Chienes, turned that dream into a tangible project.
Architect Pascale perfectly captured their vision, inspired by the timeless charm of New York lofts. Starting from the demolition and reconstruction of an old warehouse at the foot of the town, the original volume was replicated but reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
The result is an elegant interplay of materials — plaster, wood, and stone — enhanced by bold grey tones. Smart home technology further underlines the house’s modern personality.
Inside, the metropolitan aesthetic takes center stage: exposed steel structures and a stunning minimalist staircase by Novalinea add character and sophistication. The architecture celebrates light, with perspectives and frames that fascinate both those who look in and those who look out.
Located in a historic district, this Basic Plus timber-frame home perfectly blends tradition and innovation. The Rubner Haus technology — with underfloor heating and cooling, VMC, photovoltaic system, and storage batteries — ensures maximum comfort and sustainability.

A unique project that combines Neapolitan warmth, New York industrial elegance, Lombard perseverance, and the South Tyrolean excellence of Rubner Haus.
