The perfect harmony between essentiality and warmth

Project Noceto

At the edge of Noceto, in the province of Parma, this wonderful house translates contemporary living with elegance and balance. Its essential architecture is defined by clean lines, geometric volumes, and interiors that breathe through large glass surfaces and warm natural parquet, adding intimacy to intentionally pure spaces.

The owners, Flavia and Daniele, were looking for a house that could protect them, represent them, and above all, give them the pleasure of living each day freely and independently. A building capable of guaranteeing privacy and comfort, even on a small lot nestled in the urban fabric.

This is where Rubner Haus construction technology reveals its full potential: high-performance walls without unnecessary bulk, controlled acoustics, sustainable materials, and a naturally balanced indoor climate — day after day. The project is built around a simple yet decisive idea: creating an intimate and bright space, open toward its garden and shielded from the outside boundaries. The living area — with kitchen and lounge facing the greenery — becomes the heart of the house.

Large windows create a seamless dialogue between indoors and outdoors, while motorized sunshades modulate the light at every hour. The ground floor accommodates everything the couple needs for their daily lives, in fluid and accessible spaces; the upper floor, on the other hand, is designed for hosting guests, with welcoming bedrooms and a terrace overlooking the garden, where the horizon expands.

The architecture is completed by a dynamic composition of volumes, a refined palette of grey tones, and differentiated roof structures that shape the building in a contemporary way. Sustainability also plays a key role: the roof integrates a photovoltaic system powering the heat pump, making the house nearly energy-independent.

This house is born from a very special encounter: the desire to live differently, and the ability of wood to transform that desire into a place that is real, warm, and deeply authentic.

“Enjoying Flavia and Daniele’s trust, but above all their desire to design their home as a ‘wooden house’, allowed me to share my personal convictions about this type of building with them.”
