PIZ Seteur gondola lift

Selva Val Gardena

Since December 2017, guests at Val Gardena have the opportunity to ride the new 10-passenger gondola lift “Piz Seteur”.

It is the world’s most modern monocable gondola lift, and the most state-of-the-art structure ever built by Leitner Ropeways. Pininfarina Design developed the gondolas and the roofs of the stations. Within the framework of this major building project right in the middle of a stunning mountain landscape, which forms part of Dolomiti Superski, the Piz de Sella AG company commissioned Rubner Objektbau with the construction of a residential structure for their staff to be constructed on the upper floor of the valley station. The valley station is located next to the Hotel Sella in a new structure, partially built under ground, designed by the perathoner architects studio.
