Prefabricated roof elements score in every respect
25,000 m² of the total 30,000 m² hall area of the exhibition complex in Tulln are covered by Rubner roof elements. The proven construction method was also used for the new Donauhalle (Hall 1).
Why?
The prefabricated roof elements with dimensions of 3.0 x 20.0 m are quickly assembled and the hall is thus watertight and dry..
In addition to the fire protection requirement REI 30, the roof elements also fulfil acoustic tasks. The perforated trapezoidal sheeting on the lower side ensures favourable room acoustics.
The roof elements are designed as a stiffening roof sheeting. Suspended purlins made of glulam rest on a primary support system of steel trusses, on which the large-format roof elements are placed.
Our client, Messe Tulln, has been relying on the quality and construction of Rubner roof elements since 2007.
