The Kappel family cattle freestall is designed as a ridged roof with an axis grid of 10 metres and covered with fully heat-insulated roof elements. The smooth bottom view and the additionally installed large-space ventilators ensure optimum exchange of air in spite of the large span.
The stable’s design comes with only 9 supports on a total area of 38.5 m x 66.5 m, another key benefit of glulam constructions.
The efficient design and structure of the “climate stable” creates optimum air and lighting conditions for human beings and livestock.
