COVID-19 - Rubner Holzbau Bressanone, Italy

Dear customers, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors,

in relation to the general situation that has happened in Italy and following the measures promulgated by the Government, Rubner Holzbau informs that it has immediately implemented all the actions aimed at securing its employees in support of customers and stakeholders, while guaranteeing full continuity of work.

We have asked employees and collaborators to make every effort to comply with the indications to contain the spread of the virus (compulsory use of the mask, safety distance between colleagues, indication of transit or standing in areas indicated as at risk, constant internal information on changes) and we have facilitated and continue to facilitate smart working methods.

In the last two months, despite the difficulties, we have never stopped: our plant in Bressanone continued to produce glulam structures in order to be ready for the restart of operations, as have our plants in Austria and Germany. Following the latest Decree, since 14 April 2020 all our activities have resumed normally and, although some orders may be subject to slowdowns due to government restrictions on our suppliers, we are able to ensure a strong containment of delays.

Today we are ready to restart with even greater determination and an important lesson learned. Here at Rubner Holzbau, we feared for everyone's job, but we managed to preserve everyone's place; we were physically further away, but we all felt closer. This emergency changed us: it changed our priorities, it changed the way we work, it shook our security at the roots. One thing hasn't changed: our passion for wood and the convincement that a transition from a society of waste to one of recycling capable of completely reusing materials as nature does, is more indispensable than ever.

We would like to thank everyone for their cooperation.

Best regards,

the Management

Peter Rosatti
